I would like to thank you so much for including more coverage in your ports section of basketball and tennis news — it has been thrilling to get to read about the Williams sisters and the happenings in the NBA with draft picks and free agents. Can we get coverage of the WNBA (Women’s National Basketball Association), too sometimes?
Other things I love about the paper are the amazing photographs and the expanded coverage of local Franklin county news outside of the city of Greenfield. I also enjoy the expanded articles about the arts and culture in our area.
I am still not enamored though of the change in typeface and look — I find it is too much print squished together with no place to “rest the eyes” in between articles.
Can I ask you to consider if the Arts and Entertainment section could include events in both Franklin and Hampshire Counties? Since the Gazette and the Recorder are sister newspapers, and most of us travel regularly between counties these days, wouldn’t this make sense? It is frustrating to miss so many wonderful events just next door for lack of awareness that seems to be so easily accessible.
