The RECOVER Project: 10 a.m. daily. The RECOVER Project hosts an “All Recovery Meeting” at 68 Federal St., Greenfield. Open to all to discuss recovery — no matter what path that recovery has taken. RSVP Osteo Exercise: Tuesdays and Thursday, 11 a.m. to noon. The YMCA in Greenfield is offering free exercise classes for people who have osteoporosis, osteopenia or who just want to strengthen bones. This exercise program builds bones, muscles, strength, flexibility and improves balance with light weights and balls provided. Led by trained Retired and Senior Volunteer Program leaders of Franklin County and the Y. Registration required. Call Jayne at 773-3646, ext. 448. You do not have to be a Y member. Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Groups: Michael and Marjorie Paton hold an Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group on the third Tuesday of the month, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Congregational Church at the common in Montague Center, church basement. The Patons are affiliated with the Alzheimer’s Association of Mass/N.H. chapter. The group is open to all persons caring for an individual suffering from Alzheimer’s type dementia. Tai Chi Classes: Tuesdays, 6 to 7 p.m.  $10. First Universalist Church. 31 North Main St., Orange. Classes are taught by Nick and Valerie Wisniewski. Its therapeutic physical benefits include improved balance, flexibility, and coordination. If practiced regularly, T’ai Chi can lead to better circulatory and respiratory health, including lower blood pressure and increased lung capacity. In addition, practitioners can achieve a sense of calm and well-being, relieving stress and anxiety.
