RSVP Osteo Exercise: The YMCA in Greenfield is offering free exercise classes for people who have osteoporosis, osteopenia or who just want to strengthen their bones. This exercise program builds bones, muscles, strength, flexibility and improves balance with light weights and balls provided. A Memoir Writing Class will take place at the Sunderland Public Library on Tuesdays, April 5 to April 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. This class will be facilitated by Ruth Flohr, M.A. Memoir is guided by purpose and fueled by the courage to tell your own story. Everyone has a story to tell but not knowing how to move it from memory to paper keeps many of those stories from being passed along. The goal of this class is to provide you with the inspiration and tools needed to effectively begin writing your memoir. Topics will be: Getting Started, Writing Through Fear, Excavating Memories, Memoir Writing Strategies.
