Collins-Moylan Arena will present FMC Ice Sports’ annual figure skating show on April 2 from 3 to 5 p.m.
This year’s theme is Once Upon A Time, a tribute to children’s literature.
The show will feature 59 local skaters, including the Stoneleigh-Burnham Synchronized Skating Team and area guest skater Simon Abbott from Granby.
Tickets are $10 adults and $5 for seniors and students. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the arena or at the door the day of the event.

GHS bottle and can drive
The Greenfield High School baseball team will conduct its annual bottle and can drive today from 9 a.m. to noon at Ruggeri’s Package Store.
Players will go door to door picking up bottlers cans, and residents can drop of their returnables at the store.

Babe Ruth signups
Sign-ups for Franklin County Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle League baseball will be taken today form noon to 2 p.m. and Monday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at at Abercrombie Field in Greenfield.
Babe Ruth is open for ages 13 to 15, Mickey Mantle for ages 16 and 17.
At the conclusion of Monday’s sign-up session, Babe Ruth will hold a general membership meeting at the field.

Top Notch Camp sign-ups
Registrations are now being accepted for Top Notch Camps’ basketball and soccer camps taking place in July at Frontier Regional School in South Deerfield.
Both camps are open to players ages 7 to 13.
The Top Notch Soccer Camp will run from July 18 through 22 and takes place daily from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The camp is run by Cushing Academy girls’ soccer coach Melanie Stier.
The Top Notch Basketball Camps will run on two separate weeks in July. The first session runs from July 11 through 15 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day, and the second session runs from July 25 through 29 from 9 a.m. until noon each day. The camp is run by Frontier boys’ basketball coach Ben Barshefsky.

Post 81 tryouts
The Greenfield Post 81 American Legion Baseball program will hold tryouts for its Senior and Junior Division teams on April 23, 24 and 30, and May 1 and 7.
Tryouts will take place at Veterans Memorial Field in Greenfield. The Senior Division (19 and under as of Dec. 31, 2016) will take place at 1 p.m., and the Junior Division (17 and under as of Dec. 31) will take place at 3.
Players from all Franklin County schools are eligible to try out. Players should bring glove, cleats and a birth certificate. Players from a previous Post 81 roster must also attend tryouts.
