GILL — The Franklin County Regional Housing & Redevelopment Authority is applying for $900,000 that would be used to preserve or rehabilitate homes in Gill and New Salem to meet building and sanitary codes, and to improve accessibility.

MONTAGUE — As the Gill-Montague Regional District School Committee prepares to finalize its budget for the next fiscal year, it faces an approximately $400,000 roadblock in the form of a current $200,000 budget deficit and a $200,000 revenue shortfall for next year.

GILL — The McCollum Hockey Arena at Northfield Mount Hermon School has been closed and a Friday girls varsity hockey game has been moved due to a fire that broke out in one of the four locker rooms Wednesday night.
I guess it needs to be said yet again that DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) practices in the employment world do not mean hiring unqualified people over others because the former are part of some special population. DEI means making sure people who are also qualified get a fair, unbiased chance at being selected for a position.
