“Ancient Sea Peoples of the North Atlantic” features nearly half a century of research and discovery by scientists and tribal representatives exploring a little-known chapter in Native American, Northeastern culture. The idea of an “Algonquin Atlantic” places early, Indigenous America within the context of one of the world’s great technological and cultural advances: the Paleolithic maritime revolution.
A panel discussion featuring Timreck and four other speakers will follow the screening. Nolumbeka Project President David Brule will serve as moderator.
