Pee Wee Basketball: Registration for Pee Wee Basketball, grades K-2 is now open. Learn the fundamentals of the game through skill building drills and scrimmages. Pee Wee will be held Thursday nights, January 3rd through February 28th. $35 Residents, $45 Non-Residents. The registration deadline is December 27th. An additional $5.00 late fee will be assessed for all late registrations.
Ski & Snowboarding: Sign-ups are due December 3rd. Join us for four Saturdays in January of fun and adventure on the slopes of Berkshire East. Participants must provide their own transportation to and from the mountain. This program is for ages 8 and older. Lift Tickets for residents are $155 Youth, $175 Adult for four days of skiing or snowboarding, with additional fees for lessons and rentals. An additional $5.00 late fee will be assessed for all late registrations.
Winter Break Vacation Week: Sign up today for Winter Break Vacation Week, a fun filled week of activities, games, and outdoor fun for your child grades K-6. This program is held at the Youth Center on 20 Sanderson Street from Wednesday, December 26th through Friday, December 28th. Regular hours are 9:00am-4:00pm with early and late care available. Walking fieldtrips to Beacon Field for sledding, skating, and snow fun! Lunch, afternoon snack, and drink must be sent with child. Morning snack provided. Children also must bring appropriate winter clothing (boots, hats, gloves, etc). $90 Residents, $100 Non-Residents. Additional fees for early and late care. Registration deadline is December 12th. A $25 late fee will be assessed for all late registrations.
Holiday Gifts: It’s not too early to start thinking about the holidays! Gift Certificates and Greenfield Recreation Department sweatshirts are available for purchase in our office. Gift certificates can be purchased in any amount and can be used for all programs the Recreation Department Offers as well as Season Passes to the Swim Area. Forest Green Hooded Sweatshirts with Poet Seat Tower Recreation Logo on front chest are also available in Adult Small to 2XL for $30. Spread the gift of play with those you love.
GRASP Highlights: Did you know GRASP offers half day care as well as regular afterschool care? Students in the Greenfield Recreation After School Program at Federal Street and Four Corners Schools had a blast the half day before Thanksgiving Break enjoying special craft projects, outside fun, and extra free choice programming!
