The mayor fires or puts Finance Director Elizabeth Braccia on paid leave. We don’t really know which. Then he tells the public that his plan is to have the school finance administrator (only on the job a few weeks) work six hours a day overtime doing the duty as the city finance administrator — on top of eight hours a day at his regular job. And will be paid time and a half.
Really? That’s his solution to the mess he created? I’m calling that he personally pay for this and not the taxpayers of Greenfield. He can take a reduction of pay to cover his own mess.
