The Greenfield High School football team will hold its second annual Meat Raffle on March 24 at the Greenfield Elks Lodge at 6 p.m.

The raffle will include $1,400 worth of meat and seafood such as steaks, pork loins, scallops, shrimps and more, and there will be additional raffles from local merchants. Admission is free, and tickets are purchased during the event.

Mites win

Stefan Flaska scored five goals and had one assist to lead Franklin County Hockey Association to a 10-8 win over Wilbraham Twin Meadows in a Greater Springfield League Mite Division game Saturday at Collins-Moylan Arena in Greenfield.

Nico Siano had two goals and three assists in the win, and Chase Zraunig and Desmond Drake each finished with one goal and three helpers. Asa Bouchard finished with two goals and one assist, and Hayden Audrey had one goal and one helper. Carter Schloat made 16 saves in net.

Gymnastics

Tumbling Tigers results

Zenani Himlin-Mayekiso won the bars (8.8), floor (9.2), vault (8.9) and All Around (35.20), and was second on the beam (8.3) in the Level 8 Division for the Greenfield YMCA Tumbling Tigers at a meet over the weekend at Westfield YMCA.

Kendall Fox won the beam (8.9) and took second on the bars (8.0), floor (8.8), vault (8.4) and all-around (34.10) at Level 8.

Hannah Phillips captured the all-around title (35.50) at Level 7 as she took second on the vault (9.05), floor (9.1), bars (9.3), and third on the beam (8.05). Allyson Unaitis won the bars (9.5), and Addie Broady placed second on the beam (8.2), and third on the floor (8.9) and all-around (34.85).

Grayson Bowse won the bars (8.4) and all-around (35.9) at XCEL Platinum, and placed second on the beam (9.1), floor (9.25) and vault (9.15). Sandra Johnson won the beam (9.35), bars (9.3) and all-around (36.30) at XCEL Bronze, and was second on the floor (9.0) and vault (8.65). Payton Tierney placed third on the bars (9.0) and vault (8.6).

Mila Frantz placed third on the bars (9.0) and vault (8.7) in the XCEL Silver Junior Division, and Juliette Potee placed second on the beam (9.05). Abby Shar placed third on the bars (9.05) in the Senior Division.

Lydia MacMunn Seaman was second on the beam (9.1), vault (9.0) and all-around (34.45), and was third on the bars (8.3) in the Level 3, Child Division. Olivia Wolbach was third on the beam (8.7) and vault (8.85), and Viviana Sanchez placed third on the floor (8.15). Ava Garappolo won the beam (9.25), was second all-around (34.3) and third on the floor (8.65) in the Junior Division, while Michaela Klempner-Siano won the vault (9.1), and was second on the floor (8.7).

Theresa Hamel placed second on the vault (9.05) in the Level 1, Child Division, while Serenity Rider was third on the beam (8.7). Ohia Dellert won the bars (9.55), floor (9.2) and all-around (36.35) in the Junior Division. Virginia Krezmien was second on the vault (8.7) and third on the bars (8.9) in the Level 2, Child Division.

Softball

Valley Storm 16s take second

The Valley Storm 16-and-under softball team opened the season by finishing second in the Midnight Madness Tournament in Bloomfield, Conn.

The Storm defeated the Montgomery Devils (9-6), tied the Rebels (1-1) and beat the Northeast Xtreme (5-2) to reach the finals where they fell to New England Impact, 1-0.

Courtney Dunham and Gianna Conte pitched throughout the night, which featured games from 10:30 p.m. until 7:30 a.m.
