2:08 p.m. — Accident reported at Mohawk Trail and Colrain Road, two vehicles involved, but no injuries reported. Damage minor and information exchanged.

2:55 p.m. — Accident reported at Applebee’s and Mohawk Trail where two vehicles were involved, information exchanged.

8:50 p.m. — Despondent person reported at Forbes Court, where the caller says female here has some type of head injury; pictures of the injury were sent via phone, and now she is no longer answering her phone; officers and Medcare on scene, and Medcare transferring her to Baystate Franklin Medical Center, with an officer following to the hospital.

Montague, Nov. 28

3:09 p.m. — Caller from Federal Street in Millers Falls states there appears to be a pipe burst in front of her home; officer confirms that water is coming up through the street; water department contacted, and they then called back later to advise the leak is slow, and they are going to wait until morning. Detail request was made in a separate call.

5:31 p.m. — Accident reported on West Mineral Road, a car versus a deer, no injuries reported, no hazards; area checked, nothing found.

5:35 p.m. — Caller states there appears to be a black Grand Am, that has been abandoned on the cutoff of Old Northfield Road; officer checking and searched the area, with nothing showing, but didn’t go far into the Plains, due to the capability of the cruiser.

Orange, Nov. 28

8:59 a.m. — Control got a call from a Mountain Road resident regarding a problem with hunters; the response was delayed due to a medical call. On officer’s arrival the reporting person said that hunters were too close to the residence; the reporting person spoke with them and they were rude; the involved person had apologized, and left.

11:50 a.m. — Larceny reported on Stone Road where the caller reports she didn’t receive a package that was shipped; the post office told the caller it was delivered on 11/22/16 at 4:37 p.m. The house next door was checked and it was not located; the post office is looking into this further.

11 p.m. — Officer located a suspicious vehicle parked at Mahar High School on Hayden Street, the vehicle was occupied by three people, smoking marijuana; a test was administered, and the items were confiscated, destroyed, and the people were sent on their way.

Greenfield, Nov. 29

2:22 a.m. — Disturbance at Standish Court where the caller reports that her upstairs neighbors are yelling at each other and making lots of noise; the reporting person stated it seemed they were, “chasing each other around,” and the reporting person advised this has been going on for the past two hours; officers responded, and found it was a verbal argument. Peace was restored

2:36 p.m. — Returned a bicycle to an owner of the previously stolen bike taken from Deerfield Street location on 11/25/16.

8:12 a.m. — Caller requests welfare check on Deerfield Street; officers sent, and checked the area, but found no unsupervised children.

8:38 a.m. — Caller requests police check on a child at Federal Street School who is standing outside the school alone; officer sent, and found the school has a two hour delay and no staff is there at this time. Services rendered.

10:48 a.m. — Caller reporting a male having a very raised voice discussion with some aggressive gestures in the alley way between King’s Gym and the Green Field’s Market; officer sent, but unable to locate anyone there.

Montague, Nov. 29

5:32 a.m. — Male caller complaining about noise from neighbors on Griswold Street; officer cleared after checking in with situation, and spoke with those in the apartment and found nothing out of the ordinary upon officers arrival; noise that was present appeared to be normal morning routine, and here were multiple adults in the apartment.

6:43 a.m. — Accident with property damage between Swamp and Center streets, and Federal Street, where a male caller reported a motor vehicle versus a deer; the reporting person is the operator of the vehicle and reports minor damage to the front end; the deer is alive, in the road, and impeding traffic; no injuries reported, and no fluids; later the deer was removed by the DPW; the damage is less than $1,000, and the operator was able to drive the vehicle away.

8:40 a.m. — Caller from Central Street reports that a package that was delivered on Sunday, while she wasn’t home, has been stolen, and she would like this to be investigated; she was advised of options.

10:19 a.m. — Reporting person from Eleventh Street reports that an adult aged neighbor is threatening to assault her young grandson; officer there and speaking with the female neighbor who is involved.
