If you want to vote in the national presidential election on Nov. 8, you must be a registered voter.
The last day to do that is Wednesday, Oct. 19 Check with your town clerk’s office to see what hours they will be open that day.
For example, in Charlemont the Clerk’s Office in Town Hall on October 18 will be open from 9 am to 4 pm and then at 7 p.m. for another hour until 8 pm.
Also, online registration is available, so it is almost impossible to come up with an excuse not to be registered.
If you need more information, all is available online from multiple sources or a call to your town hall.
If you are reading this, I’d wager that you are registered. This means of communicating is becoming passé for younger folks.
Have you asked if all your family and friends are registered?
