12:59 p.m. — Employee at the Turners Falls Pizza House on Avenue A reports having asked a man to leave the restaurant “several times” but he wouldn’t. Individual believed to be intoxicated. Officer requested an ambulance.

1:58 p.m. — Caller on Second Street was notified by her employer that her name was used in a fraudulent unemployment claim.

Tuesday, March 21

1:13 p.m. — An employee at the Turners Falls Pizza House on Avenue A reports the tip jar was stolen.

12:47 p.m. — Caller at the Elks Lodge off L Street reports smoke coming from the building. Porch fire extinguished.

4:34 p.m. — Caller on Fourth Street reports finding her house door ajar when she came home.

Friday, March 24

1:59 p.m. — Caller by the intersection of Federal Street and Green Pond Road reports two loose dogs — a pit bull mix and a smaller white dog.

Saturday, March 25

5:52 p.m. — Caller on Unity Street reports a male wearing a green shirt with jeans and no shoes stole her purse with her money in it. Purse was returned. Officer provided courtesy transport to Chapman Street in Greenfield.

Sunday, March 26

2:22 a.m. — Caller reports his son, who is at home on Nadeau Avenue while he and his wife are out of town, informed him people are hitting the doors and windows at the house. Caller’s wife is on the phone with their son. The son knows at least one individual who is on scene. While obtaining information, the caller said the people seemed to be attempting to get into the house. Individuals then reportedly got in a vehicle and left. Vehicle was a blue SUV with two males in it who made threats.

Monday, March 27

7:50 a.m. — Caller on G Street reports a red scooter was stolen from the backyard that morning.

12:41 p.m. — Caller requests to speak with an officer about ongoing harassment. Caller states his former father-in-law has been parking near his apartment on Second Street and he feels he is there to harass him. Caller had at least three documented incidents of the same behavior. Caller was advised of his court options.

Tuesday, March 28

6:01 a.m. — Police advise a coyote was struck and is lying in the middle of the roadway at Lake Pleasant and Millers Falls roads. Department of Public Works advised.

5:03 p.m. — Caller on Ripley Road reports a young man in his early 20s was standing on her front porch. Though she thought it was an Amazon driver, he did not knock or leave a package. Caller asked if she could help him and he said he wanted to speak to the homeowner. She declined and he walked away. Car is believed to be an older maroon-colored Malibu with a dent on the driver’s side. Police advised.

Wednesday, March 29

7:40 a.m. — Caller states that for three days in a row, a BMW has been speeding past a stopped bus with its lights on and the stop sign out. Caller states the bus driver is aware and makes sure her son gets across the road safely after the car goes past. Caller is wondering if police can assist. Officers will keep an eye out.

5:02 p.m. — Walgreens employee reports a hit-and-run in the parking lot. Police advise a truck was hit by a moped. Unknown party operating.

Thursday, March 30

7:32 p.m. — Caller on L Street reports seeing two male parties on her house cameras. Individuals were initially in the alleyway but then proceeded to look around the building and in the cars. States it appears someone entered her neighbor’s basement. Caller reports she has footage and would like to speak with an officer. Police report the individual was gone on arrival. No signs of forced entry.

Friday, March 31

3:09 p.m. — Caller states there is a dead fox in her yard on Federal Street.

3:53 p.m. — Caller reports low-hanging wires at Avenue A and Second Street. Verizon contacted.

Saturday, April 1

2:56 p.m. — Officer checking on a report of an injured bald eagle at Thomas Memorial Golf Course.

4:10 p.m. — Caller reports people keep walking up to a white car in the parking lot on Fourth Street and then leaving. Drug activity suspected.

Sunday, April 2

12:20 a.m. — Caller reports someone backed into a parked car on Davis Street. Driver left the scene. No damage observed.

7:19 p.m. — Caller on Montague Street reports her two dogs are fighting and her husband cannot pull them apart and she is scared for her children. Denies need for medical attention. Caller hung up before more details were obtained. Police advised.

Monday, April 3

8:03 a.m. — Caller on Sunderland Road reports his vehicle was hit by a recycling bin that fell in front of him while he was driving. Caller said there was damage to his passenger side mirror.

Tuesday, April 4

1:36 p.m. — Caller on Turners Falls Road in Greenfield reports a car on its side with entrapment. Call transferred to Greenfield Police. Upon Greenfield’s request, an officer shut down the road at the bridge. Second vehicle involved. Occupants denied need for medical attention but vehicle heavily damaged. Greenfield requested an ambulance for a male party involved with a stomach injury. Turners Falls Fire Department responded. Road reopened.

Wednesday, April 5

8:35 p.m. — Caller at the intersection of Park and Unity streets reports a car on the hill. Caller is unsure if there was an accident or just a flat tire. Multiple callers report a two-car accident. No injuries. Rau’s Sunoco Service requested to tow a Toyota Prius.

Thursday, April 6

8:20 a.m. — Caller at Montague and Dell streets reports he was in a minor accident involving another vehicle.

2:24 p.m. — Franklin County Technical School’s school resource officer received a report that a vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the parking lot at 8 a.m.

3:29 p.m. — Caller on L Street reports an adolescent male put a large kitchen knife in his pants, was walking near the gas station. Officer advised. Gone on arrival.

6:15 p.m. — Caller at Seventh and L streets reports an assault. Caller, who was in the crosswalk, had yelled at a driver who didn’t stop. Driver allegedly went around the block, returned and assaulted the caller. Not as reported. Search for vehicle called off.

Friday, April 7

1:39 p.m. — Caller on Millers Falls Road reports a driver who was at her house yesterday to pick up a dumpster broke her car windshield.

Saturday, April 8

8:33 p.m. — Caller on L Street reports that, for the second night in a row, people are knocking on his front and back doors and then running away. Caller saw two individuals. Requests officers do a drive-by of the area as his children are scared. Officers respond.

Sunday, April 9

6:37 p.m. — Caller on Franklin Street reports receiving harassing phone calls and text messages due to a photo posted on Facebook. Officer advised. Upon callback, call went to voicemail.

Monday, April 10

2:04 p.m. — Caller at New England Extrusion on Industrial Boulevard reports a truck hit the building a couple hours ago. Caller was looking to file a report.

4:24 p.m. — Caller on Third Street reports packages were stolen today and last Wednesday. Caller is unsure who is taking the packages, planned to contact Amazon.
