Montague, MA – Richard “Rick” Lindemann, an honorable, caring, and steadfast pillar of his family and community, stepped into eternity on October 12, 2026. Born on January 21, 1953, Rick was a figure known for his unyielding loyalty, dependability and inventive spirit, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Rick will be remembered fondly as a loving husband to his wife, Rita Lindemann; a devoted father to his son, Andrew and a doting grandfather to Alexis Antonellis and Orion Lindemann. His mother Dorothy Lindemann, his sister Carol Couture, brother Alfred ‘Al’ Lindemann, Diane Huften, and brother John Lindemann, survive him and will continue to honor his memory. He joins his daughter, Jacquelyn Lindemann, his father Richard Lindemann Sr., and his siblings, Irene Moore and Tom Lindemann, in eternal rest.
Rick’s life was characterized by selfless service and dedication. An eight-year veteran of the US Army, he served with distinction and achieved the rank of Specialist E4. His love for his country was evident not only in his service but also as a part of the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Organization and his tireless advocacy for the second amendment. Beyond his patriotic duty, Rick was a master mechanic and pursued a career in long haul trucking, truly embodying the spirit of a hard-working American man.
His life’s wisdom, epitomized in his belief in respecting others, and his legacy as a loving, albeit stubborn, family protector will continue to inspire his family and friends. He was a man of firm belief and held his responsibilities dear to his heart, be it as a serviceman or as a family man.
