Stratus is a 2-year-old German shepherd who can be nervous around strangers, but is quickly learning that meeting new people can be fun. Stratus bonds quickly to people and will make someone a very loyal, devoted dog.
Stratus showed a very strong prey drive toward a cat, so he should be in a cat-free home. He can be reactive toward other dogs and will require someone who knows how to work with reactivity. It is a requirement that his new owners own their own home; he will not be placed into an apartment or rental unit. To learn more about Stratus, call the Franklin County Sheriff's Office Regional Dog Shelter at 413-676-9182. Credit: CONTRIBUTED
