At her new food truck in the parking lot of the former White Cloud Diner across the street from the Orange Municipal Airport, Jessica “Jessie” Gadarowski hopes customers will find not just necessary sustenance, but thorough satisfaction.
Gadarowski started The Daily Provision Food Truck & Catering and opened the concession window for the first time on Sept. 21, looking to build a customer base.

“It’s good. The community has been very supportive. I really appreciate them,” Gadarowski said as she put a piece of chicken on the grill. “People have been coming pretty regularly. I have a few regulars already who support us as well.”
The custom-built truck sits in the parking lot of 627 East River St. in Orange, which now belongs to Gadarowski Construction and the Athol family’s real estate office, owned by her husband, Jesse. The building also houses the food truck’s commissary kitchen, where the prep work is done. Jessie said she makes almost everything herself — including sourdough cinnamon rolls.
“I don’t like processed food, so I try to keep it as unprocessed as possible,” she said.
Her niece, Cassidy Wong, helps with the prep work and often handles the cash register. As the owner and operator of the Wildflour & Thread roadside stand in Templeton, she said she shares her aunt’s passion for natural, quality food.
“I kind of help her out just wherever she needs me,” Wong said. “We already have a good handful of regulars that come.”

The food truck is open Tuesday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4:30 to 7 p.m. It will close for the season starting Nov. 13, though Jessie will still be available for catering and special events. She plans to reopen the food truck in April.
“She’s a great cook, which is awesome,” her husband said. “We worked in restaurants back in the day, but we’re learning the logistics, preparation, ordering. That’s kind of the challenge that we’ve got to figure out.”
Jessie got her start working at the Blue Moon Diner and The Hen House, both in Gardner, years ago, but she refined her skills as a stay-at-home mom to three children. The Daily Provision name is a nod to food being necessary for everyday sustenance.

“I always go somewhere out to eat and I’ll say, ‘Well, I’m full, but I’m not satisfied,'” Jessie said. “And I want people to feel satisfied … like they had a good meal.”
The side of the food truck is decaled with the business’ name as well as the anglicized words from Hebrew meaning “God will provide.” She has the words there so people will ask her about them.
“Jesus is my lord and savior,” she said.
The menu, which Jessie said is evolving, consists of sandwiches and customizable “power bowls,” blending an assortment of protein, vegetables, rice and more.
