5:58 a.m. — Caller from The Weldon apartments on High Street is stuck in the elevator on the first floor. Call came in seconds after the power went out. While on the phone with the caller, the power came back on and the elevator proceeded to work.

7:51 a.m. — Report of a female party smashing a candle, throwing trash and yelling at Main and Chapman streets. Female party stated she was having a tough morning and will pick up the mess.

9:20 a.m. — Reporting party states she took her dog for a walk in the area of Green River Road and Eunice Williams Drive and noticed a vehicle with a female party slumped over. States she went by the vehicle again about two hours later, and the vehicle was still there and the female was still slumped over. Female party is awake and moving along shortly.

3:40 p.m. — Traffic stop on Federal Street. Alysha M. Warren, 37, of Federal Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.

Tuesday, May 19

4:41 a.m. — Reporting party reports a woman walking in traffic at Main and Chapman streets threw something at his truck. Party stated she is not in need of any help and expressed a strong dislike toward the police. She was advised to remain out of traffic and use the sidewalk.

9:54 a.m. — Officer attempting to serve a warrant on Chapman Street. Timothy W. Pike Jr., 37, of Chapman Street in Greenfield, was arrested on three warrants.

12:59 p.m. — Caller reports a female party went into Ryan & Casey Liquors on Main Street and left her young children in the vehicle while it was running. Reporting party stated they called 911 because they confronted the other party, who had an attitude. Staff stated the reporting party’s reaction seemed peculiar. Vehicle gone on arrival.

Wednesday, May 20

4:59 a.m. — Report of an unwanted person at CVS Pharmacy on Federal Street. Officers sent. Female party is kicking the door at the store and causing an issue. No damage to the store, all verbal arguments. Female party moved along.

2:23 p.m. — Report of a stolen license plate on Walnut Street. Not as reported. Female party was advised of the reason why her plates were seized.

7:27 p.m. — Caller witnessed a male party dump a large amount of trash next to the tennis courts on Parkway Street. Searched the area, nothing found. Attempted to call the reporting party back but there was no answer.

Thursday, May 21

3:40 a.m. — Reporting party reports that at a vacant house on Summer Street, there is a car with someone in the back seat and another person in the house with no lights on. Officer cleared the house, no vehicle present. Open door. No suspicious activity observed.

3:26 p.m. — Disturbance reported at Main and Federal streets. Party following a man near Greenfield Savings Bank. Guerdema Tabitha Gabriel, 35, of Arch Place in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct (two counts), disturbing the peace (two counts) and vandalizing property.

7:10 p.m. — City bylaw violation on Main Street. Chester Thadeus Sinclair, 78, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of open container/drinking alcohol in public.

Friday, May 22

3:09 a.m. — Caller asking for the Fire Department to come give her oxygen at Baystate Franklin Medical Center on High Street. Caller states the doctors aren’t giving it to her and she has an oxygen level of 91. Nurse could be heard telling the caller that she was there to help. Caller was advised that if she wasn’t happy with the nurses, she could ask for a supervisor or doctor. Caller called back to report she was given the oxygen as requested.

3:33 p.m. — Report of unwanted individuals at Walgreens on Pierce Street. Officers sent. Staff reporting two male parties will not leave the store due to a dispute over whether a wire transfer transaction went through. Management advised they couldn’t assist due to it being an issue with Western Union. Parties were advised to call the number provided to file a complaint/obtain assistance. They were also advised not to return per management.

10:17 p.m. — Motorcycle failing to stop on Silver Street. Officer reporting vehicle pursuit. Traveling 70 mph heading westbound. No license plate. Motorcycle continued to Elm Street and the Mohawk Trail before getting on Interstate 91 southbound. Massachusetts State Police advised. Greenfield Police pursuit terminated.

Saturday, May 23

2:18 a.m. — Report of shoplifting at CVS Pharmacy on Federal Street involving four bags of FIFA World Cup attire. Patrolled area, negative results. Report issued.

10:42 a.m. — Disturbance reported on Park Street. Male and female parties outside screaming and pushing each other. No weapons reported. Female seen on the sidewalk and refused to talk to officers about what happened, then got up and walked away. Male party was not located and the female refused to identify him.

2:14 p.m. — Reporting party calling from the Village Shops on the French King Highway states there is a very disgruntled woman there causing her to have a panic attack. She has locked herself in the bathroom. Verbal argument over a male party smoking in his vehicle. Involved female refused to identify herself and left without further incident.

Sunday, May 24

9:27 a.m. — Reporting party picked up an elderly woman and took her to the John W. Olver Transit Center on Olive Street. The elderly woman requested that officers check on her. Area checked, gone on arrival.

11:48 p.m. — Party states he found a flyer in several locations that is a phishing scam designed to look like his company. He believes the QR code is being used to access his Gmail. Reports he believes this is a targeted scam because the flyer is for gardening and he owns a gardening company. Call logged for now, no further action required.

Monday, May 25

3:51 a.m. — Customer told an Irving gas station employee on the Mohawk Trail that a female party was passed out in a vehicle and the vehicle was running. Spoke with the operator, who reported she was tired from partying all weekend at the music festival. No signs of drug or alcohol impairment. Operator agreed to park the vehicle at a friend’s house in Greenfield and drive home later in the morning after sleeping.

9:01 a.m. — Vandalism reported. Caller states her son came home from the music festival at Camp Kee-wanee with damage to the vehicle. Report issued.

1:26 p.m. — Caller reports cash and cards were taken from her wallet at the music festival at Camp Kee-wanee on Health Camp Road. Reporting party was advised to contact the Social Security office and monitor her credit. Report issued.

3:59 p.m. — Report of vandalism to a vehicle on Hope Street. Tires slashed and vehicle keyed. Unknown suspect keyed the hood and slashed two front tires. Checked for cameras nearby and knocked on a few doors, with no luck. Report issued.

Tuesday, May 26

12:18 a.m. — Reporting party on Water Street states the downstairs neighbors are blasting music and screaming. Male party did not open the door but agreed to turn the music down.

1:37 a.m. — Caller reporting a party on Hope Street, states it’s extremely loud. Party was working in his garage with loud music. Agreed to turn the music down.

2:00 p.m. — Reporting party reports he was in New York City about a month ago and possibly lost or had a license plate stolen from his vehicle and is now receiving tickets and fines. Suggested he cancel his current registration and obtain new plates. Party was given the contact information of the New York City finance department.

5:02 p.m. — Officer attempting to serve a warrant on High Street. Peter Clayton Sprague, 34, of High Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant, as well as on charges of resisting arrest, and assault and battery on a police officer.

Wednesday, May 27

8:11 a.m. — Reporting party at CVS Pharmacy on Federal Street reports a customer brought in a plastic bag with what appears to be a white powder inside. Requesting an officer to retrieve the item. K-9 confirmed it was not narcotics. Bag was discarded.

3:05 p.m. — Report of unwanted individuals at McDonald’s on the Mohawk Trail. Officers sent. Four people were asked to leave this morning by staff and have yet to leave. All parties were advised to leave and got on a bus. McDonald’s management was advised of the process to obtain a no-trespassing order.

4:16 p.m. — Officer attempting to serve a warrant on High Street. Joshua Gralenski, 39, of High Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.

6:19 p.m. — Reporting party states a male party is harassing an elderly woman who is sitting at a table outside at Green Fields Market on Main Street eating. Male party is smoking less than 25 feet away from her. Male party was upset that he was confronted by staff over smoking in front of their establishment.

6:49 p.m. — Report of a city ordinance violation on the Greenfield Common. Felix T. Torres, 63, of Congress Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of open container/drinking alcohol in public.

7:04 p.m. — Officer attempting to serve a warrant on Phillips Street. Skylar Alamed, 20, of Deerfield Street in Greenfield, was arrested on three warrants.

Thursday, May 28

12:58 p.m. — Report of a child, believed to be about 2 years old, hanging out of a second-floor window at Oak Courts. Child is with their mother, who closed the window. No further issues.

3:18 p.m. — Party on School Street is highly upset with delivery truck drivers parking in her driveway. Party was advised to put up signs that state “no parking or turning around.” She was also advised to contact the company and request to speak to a supervisor. Party wanted the incident documented.

4:48 p.m. — Report of a loose dog on Burnham Road. Pit bull mix, brown and white, seems to be friendly. Animal control officer was notified. Hank and owner were reunited.

6:49 p.m. — Caller on the Mohawk Trail reports he returned home from an extended trip and found his gun safe had been pried open, as well as his trailer opened and moved. Guns and tools are missing. Massachusetts State Police assisted. Report issued.

Friday, May 29

11:37 a.m. — Report of two dogs locked in a car in the Big Y parking lot on the Mohawk Trail. Large dog and small dog. Small dog is panting heavily. Vehicle is a silver Lexus. Could not locate.

1:23 p.m. — Report of a woman laying on the grass by the flagpole on Madison Circle. Another woman is walking around nearby. Both females are OK.

3:42 p.m. — Officer attempting to serve a warrant on Conway Street. Tito Rivera, 46, of Aster Court in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.

9:16 p.m. — Reporting party states a male party in all black clothing may be tampering with vehicles in the McGovern lot on Beacon Street. Party was on the phone and was using the lot for privacy. Advised he should use the lot at his residence and was moved along.

10:01 p.m. — Report of a dog barking non-stop in the area of Freeman Drive. Same happened last night until around 2 a.m. The dog in question, Bailey, escaped out of the house to the backyard. Owner will be bringing the dog inside.

Saturday, May 30

1:59 p.m. — Fight reported at Standish Court with four or five people involved. Punches thrown but no reported weapons. Ambulance requested for a male party who was punched in the face. Services rendered.

7:32 p.m. — Caller reports three cars in the Beacon Field parking lot on Sanderson Street are aggressively revving their engines. One is a silver BMW. Has been going on all day. Spoke with an individual who admitted he was revving his motor earlier, but it was quiet upon police arrival.

Sunday, May 31

7:59 a.m. — Follow-up investigation on School Street. Dennis Smith, 58, of School Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of violating a harassment prevention order.

9:24 a.m. — Reporting party is locked inside CubeSmart Self Storage on Bernardston Road due to the gate keypad not working. Services rendered.

1:22 p.m. — Reporting party has questions about fishing in Greenfield. Was advised not to fish on private property or where it says “no fishing.” Was advised to contact Environmental Police for any fishing questions.

10:14 p.m. — Reporting party is locked inside CubeSmart Self Storage on Bernardston Road, unable to open the gate. Attempting to contact keyholder to respond. Vehicle needed to get closer to the gate for the motion sensor to go off. Services rendered.
