Orange defeated Franklin Tech, 47-24, in DRIVE Hoops League action on Tuesday at Greenfield High School. Orange used a run late in the first half to pull away.

Ish Coburn led Orange with nine points. Hunter Brooks scored six points on two 3-pointers. Heyrlackmung Calypso (seven points) and Trevor Odenbaugh (six points) banged around in the paint to contribute to the offensive effort.

Cole Bassett led the way for Franklin Tech with six points.

Narragansett 46, Athol 38 — Brody Brockney scored 11 points, but the Bears couldn’t stay with the Warriors in the second game of the evening. Julian Dolan added six points for Athol.

Easthampton 72, Hampshire 61 — Chase Canon-Smith dropped 25 points in Easthampton’s win over Hampshire. Liam Neal (22 points) and Brody Frenier (18 points) led Hampshire in scoring.

DRIVE Hoops League

Zone Six 61, Brattleboro 59 Zone 6 edged Brattleboro Men’s League play on June 29 at Greenfield High School. Aiden Hernandez (17 points) and Mason Meadows (12 points) both reached double-figures in the victory. Oakley Meyers and Paul Magillion both had 15 points for Brattleboro.

Crossover Crew 84, Rattigan & Sons 54 — The Crossover Crew pounded Rattigan & Sons behind 20 points from Tucker Llewelyn on June 29. Justin Farrick added 14 points. Tae Williams had 17 points for Rattigan & Sons, with Malachi Roman adding 13 points.

Futures Unlimited 87, No Name 72 — Ben Lewis led the way with 20 points for Futures Unlimited in the win over No Name on June 29. Joe Thomson chipped in with 17 points. Chris Brown (24 points) and Brendan Rios (17 points) led No Name in scoring.

Franklin Tech Girls Summer League

Mahar 32, Franklin Tech 16 — Lexi Ares dropped nine points for Senators in the win over the Eagles on Tuesday at Franklin Tech. Adalynn Almeida scored seven points, with Mackenzie Matthews chipping in with five points.

Abigail Dobias (six points) and Madison Ross (five points) led the way for Franklin Tech.

Pioneer 32, Athol 18 — A balanced scoring attack paced the Panthers in the win over the Bears. Ariana Perkins, Taylyn Anderson and Maggie Tsipenyuk each scored eight points for Pioneer. Azaliah Seda and Serena Nkengafe scored four points each for Athol.

Mohawk 41, Greenfield 9 — Sadie Wilcox ruled the paint, scoring 21 points in Mohawk’s win over the Green Wave. Natalie Lanoue added nine points with Maddie Finn chipping in with six points. Annie Cobileanschi had seven points for Greenfield.

Frontier 59, Mohawk 19 — Harper Modestow (13 points) and Abby Cendrowski (12 points) both reached double-figures in the win for Frontier. Bella Orrell added eight points for Frontier. Wilcox scored 12 points for Mohawk.

Franklin County Softball League

Menace 8, Havoc 5 — The Menace used five runs in the sixth inning to register the victory on June 29. Alexis Berry had two hits, including a double, for the Menace.

Maddie Finn led the Menace with three RBI. Berry got the win in relief for the Menace, pitching two innings with four strikeouts. Lucy Graham started and finished with eight strikeouts.

Lindsey Hawkins and Mia Lindahl had RBI for Havoc.

Defenders 11, Wolfpack 9 — Shelby Beck got the win in the circle for the Defenders on June 29. Beck gave up five hits with five strikeouts. Brooke Skowron, Autumn DiMare and Alaina Toothaker each had two RBI. Ella Cudworth went 2-for-2 with two RBI for the Wolfpack.

Magic 8, Flyers 7 — Morgan Gallagher’s walk off single gave the Magic a dramatic victory over the Flyers on June 29. Arianna Roberts had a double with three RBI. Ariana Roberts and Kaylee Roberts combined for 11 strikeouts for the Magic. Chloe Lane pitched three innings for the Flyers with five strikeouts. Savannah Brown and Samantha Rider each drove in two runs for Flyers.
