11:20 a.m. — While on foot patrol, an officer located a male party with an active warrant. Nolan Hugh Courtemanche, 27, of Avenue A in Turners Falls, was arrested on a warrant.
9:51 p.m. — Female party from Power Town Apartments has called 911 four times and has previously declined services, but she now wishes to speak to an officer. Requesting a male party be removed from the apartment. Male was escorted to his apartment. Declining medical attention at this time.
Tuesday, May 5
9:10 a.m. — Reporting party on Montague City Road would like an officer to assist her in identifying the other people who are using her internet and to help deal with Comcast because she gets left on hold for too long. Officer tried to call the reporting party back, but the reporting party did not accept the call and they have no voicemail.
10:48 p.m. — Noise complaint on Randall Wood Drive. Caller states a male party has been using a nail gun since 5 p.m. Officer advised. All quiet upon arrival.
Wednesday, May 6
6:47 a.m. — Caller on Wendell Road states she was driving and she was passed by a car and a dirt bike-type motorcycle. Reporting party states the car and bike were driving aggressively and at one point the operator of the dirt bike tried to kick at the car’s doors. Reporting party advises the vehicles split from each other; the bike took a left and the car headed toward Pratt Street in Erving. Officers advised, checking the area. Officer is out with a dirt bike in the area of Norman Circle. Dirt bike operator denied any involvement.
2:35 p.m. — 911 open line. Nothing heard in the background, line disconnected. Upon callback, reporting party on Old Greenfield Road states a male party is chasing her around the house and yard, and threatening her. Officer responding. Officer states all OK.
Thursday, May 7
11:49 a.m. — Reporting party reports there is a large snapping turtle on the property of The United Arc on Avenue A, possibly injured. Animal control officers advised. Turtle is fine and was moved to a grassy area.
2:46 p.m. — Caller from Federal Street states she has been getting calls from Amazon for three days stating she has a $900 outstanding bill. States she does not use Amazon. She was advised it was a scam and to block the number, and to call with further issues.
Friday, May 8
2:12 p.m. — Reporting party from O Street states there is a small black bear going in and out of residents’ yards. Animal control notified. Area checked, unable to locate the bear.
2:16 p.m. — The Northeast Foundation for Children on Avenue A advising there was a male party trying to open some of the locked doors to the building on the Third Street side. He also kicked the building. He eventually left and has not been seen in the area since. Incident occurred about 30 minutes ago. Reporting party was advised to call if they see him in the area again and police will try to make contact with him.
Saturday, May 9
11:16 a.m. — Walk-in to the station requesting to speak with an officer about a possible fraud/scam situation. Officer spoke to the party who advised she has been receiving strange emails from AT&T since February. Reporting party stated she does not have any services with them and later went to the AT&T store in Greenfield, which advised her to go online and report the scam emails to the fraud department. She did so and received an email stating the account has been closed. Party wished to have the incident on record. She was advised to monitor her finances and credit cards for any activity that is out of the ordinary.
Sunday, May 10
10:14 a.m. — Reporting party states there have been two vehicles speeding around the Patch neighborhood all morning. One is a dark purple BMW convertible with a black top and the other is a dark-colored car with a white hood. Officer located both vehicles in the parking lot on Migratory Way. Vehicles were parked, so no erratic operation was witnessed by the officer. He advised the two parties of the complaints.
6:33 p.m. — Reporting party states her daughter’s car was parked on Edward Avenue today, and they just returned to find the back window had been smashed out. Officer advised.
7:21 p.m. — Reporting party states he was walking his dog in Peskeompskut Park on Avenue A and there is a camper parked there, draining sewage into a bucket that is overflowing into the park. Nothing seen upon officer’s arrival. Occupants stating they don’t use the bathroom in the camper.
