Three things. One, how much does a car front end alignment costs? Maybe $100.
Two, Potholes on roads are worse every year. And three, medical insurance costs are maybe 20% higher than last year.
Somehow the city of Greenfield has to cut the budget. Everyone needs medical insurance. Example: 20 years ago, I had my right knee replaced. The hospital bill was $60,000 (not including the doctor’s fee). My insurance paid for this.
Obviously, the city needs help. If all adults (about 14,000, including 4,000 seniors) each donate $2 to $5, or more, especially for pothole repairs on Greenfield roads, this would help us and our city.
Having visited the gas station recently and found plus gasoline costs $4.10 per gallon instead of $3.50, we all know bituminous (byproduct of refined oil) is going to cost more.
Now is the time to consider/think about how we can help. Spring and summer will be upon us very shortly.
