Monday, Feb. 2

6:44 a.m. — Structure fire reported on Lakeview Drive. Fire Department dispatched. Nothing showing on three sides. Smoke came from the coffee pot cord. Under control.

11:42 a.m. — Disturbance reported at Golden Nozzle Car Wash on Newton Street. People yelling at one another because traffic is backed up. No issues upon arrival.

1:50 p.m. — Walk-in to the station from Freeman Drive reporting fraud. Reporting party states he received a 1099-K in the mail from Uber but he has never worked for Uber. Reporting party states he needs to file a report for Uber so they can rectify the situation. Uber was notified.

Tuesday, Feb. 3

1:43 p.m. — Male party looking for a home on Meridian Street that reportedly stated they do taxes. Party stated he was messaging a “Beth” on Facebook Marketplace. He was advised it could be a possible scam and was given resources that offer tax services.

1:51 p.m. — Traffic stop at Chapman and Pierce streets. Christopher R. Barre, 47, of Chapman Street in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense), failure to stop/yield, failure to stop for police and possession of a Class B drug (subsequent offense).

3:59 p.m. — Hold-up alarm at the Greenfield Public Library on Main Street. Spoke with staff. Male party is making another person feel uncomfortable. Button was used to call police instead of the phone. Report taken.

8:18 p.m. — Jamie Lee Anadon, 41, of Garfield Street in Greenfield, was arrested on Deerfield Street on two warrants.

Wednesday, Feb. 4

12:20 p.m. — Threat reported on Chapman Street over a trash can. Verbal altercation. Spoke with reporting party and advised. Both parties are no longer in the area.

7:02 p.m. — Report of a parking problem on Pierce Street. Vehicle is parked in the right line facing northbound. Unable to make contact with the registered owner. Tried knocking on nearby house doors. Could not locate.

Thursday, Feb. 5

3:11 p.m. — Report of a parking problem at Baystate Franklin Medical Center’s office building on Sanderson Street. Reporting party states she saw a vehicle parked in a handicap spot but with no placard. Vehicle is no longer parked there but the reporting party would like a call back regarding the situation. Party was provided information on how private and public parking complaints work.

4:12 p.m. — Lorie Ann Clarke, 46, of Greenfield, was arrested on Main Street on three warrants.

4:16 p.m. — Robert Anthony Filipkowski, 51, of Arch Place in Greenfield, was arrested on High Street on a warrant.

4:21 p.m. — Ronald Smoot, 60, of Beacon Street in Greenfield, was arrested on Federal Street on a warrant.

5:34 p.m. — Jason Todd Ellis, 48, of East River Street in Orange, was arrested on Forbes Court on charges of enticement of a child under 16, attempting to commit a crime and electronic enticement of a child for prostitution.

6:41 p.m. — Reporting party states his scooter was stolen from Smitty’s Pub on Chapman Street by a Hispanic male in his 40s. Report issued.

7:55 p.m. — Anthony Wade Ruehle, 50, of Wells Street in Greenfield, was arrested on Chapman Street on two warrants.

Friday, Feb. 6

2:53 a.m. — Caller from Green River Road reports someone is knocking on the bedroom window. Reporting party states she didn’t see anyone but did see footprints in the snow. Took a look around the house. There were no footprints going up to the window. No criminal activity observed. Unfounded.

4:17 p.m. — Jodi L. Gromaski, 45, of Oak Courts in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant at Oak Courts.

7:02 p.m. — Reporting party from Forest Avenue reports hearing a suspicious noise outside, loud banging. Additional caller is wondering what the noise is, too. Advised of the parade going on and the fireworks for the Winter Carnival.

Saturday, Feb. 7

3:33 a.m. — Report of shoplifting at CVS Pharmacy on Federal Street. Officer to investigate. Caller reports one person walked out with a big bag of stuff. The person is now sitting in a gray sedan in the middle of the parking lot. The reporting party believes there is still another person in the store. Lisa Fecteau, 46, of Springfield, was arrested on charges of possession of a Class B drug and possession of a Class E drug.

7:31 p.m. — Caller reports a white sports car is speeding and spinning out while driving down Silver Street. Unable to locate.

9:59 p.m. — Party is reportedly threatening volunteers at the warming shelter on Chapman Street and playing music loudly. Party was warned to keep the music down and to not threaten people or he will be thrown out of the warming shelter.

10:56 p.m. — Report of an unwanted person at the warming shelter on Chapman Street. Male party is being disruptive and threatening volunteers. Male was told to leave the property and not come back for the night.

Sunday, Feb. 8

2:23 p.m. — Reporting party is looking to speak to an officer about trucks from Fastenal parking in handicap parking spots across from their business on Kenwood Street. Advised of options.

2:50 p.m. — Caller from Conway Street states the neighbor has been slamming things around all day. New tenants doing some renovations. No issues.

4:06 p.m. — Reporting party screaming into the phone states the gas station put a hold on $104 of his money and the clerk cannot tell him when the funds will be released. Party would not stop yelling to listen to dispatchers and then disconnected the call. Party called back upset that the Shell gas station on the Mohawk Trail put a hold on his DoorDash card when he tried to fuel up at the pump. Party wanted the issue documented and stated he will no longer be going to Shell to refuel.
