Greenfield, MA – Arlene F. (Smith) Jeronczyk, 99, died Monday 1/5/26 at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. She was born in Monson, MA on February 10, 1926, the daughter of Francis and Juila (Strezmpka) Smith.
Arlene was a graduate of Monson High School in Monson, MA.
She worked in the cafeteria at the Greenfield Middle School for twenty-five years until her retirement. Prior to that, she was employed at the snack bar at Mammoth Mart and was a Mary Kay Consultant.
Arlene enjoyed her daily crossword puzzles and reading.
Among her survivors, Arlene leaves four daughters, Elaine Macht of Norwich, CT, Kathleen Higbee of Summerville, SC, Annette Jeronczyk of Greenfield and Karen Marsh of Greenfield; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Arlene was predeceased by her beloved husband of sixty-nine years, Edward M. Jeronczyk on March 9, 2020, her brothers, Emilek, Edward and Walter Smith and her sister, Jennie Marvonek.
The family would like to thank Cynnie Erho from Blessed Trinity Parish for her weekly spiritual visits with Arlene.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 1/17 at 10am at Blessed Trinity Parish Blessed Sacrament Church, 221 Federal Street, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery in Turners Falls.
A calling hour will be held Saturday morning (1/17) from 8:30am-9:30am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Trinity Parish, Blessed Sacrament Church, 221 Federal Street, Greenfield, MA 01301.
