The Frontier girls 5th and 6th grade Suburban basketball team won its second consecutive game to begin the season on Sunday.
The Redhawks defeated Longmeadow, 37-19, at Goodnow Gymnasium. Heidi Benson led the charge with 17 points, with Coco Goldstein contributing eight points in the victory.
Berkshire Highlands Pentathlon
The 13th Berkshire Highlands Pentathlon will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Berkshire East Resort in Charlemont. Registration is now open for all categories; Bravehearts, who do the entire course solo, family teams, and teams of 2-5. Discounted entry fees for family teams and entrants under 19-years old.
The five events are a 4.5-mile trail run, 18-mile road cycle ride, 2+ mile paddle, 2-mile adventure run and a climb up, ski down leg. Online discounted registration is at BikeReg.com. The event is in need of volunteers. This year’s benefactor is the Good Neighbors Food Pantry.
