GREENFIELD — Greenfield Community College invites prospective students to its fall open house on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Check-in will open at 9:30 a.m. in the Core Lobby of the main building on the 1 College Drive campus.
The fall open house features a format designed to encourage attendees to connect directly with faculty, department chairs and staff; explore academic degree and certificate programs; take student-led campus tours; and meet with campus support teams.
“We are excited to welcome future students and their support networks to campus to discover all that GCC has to offer,” said Shanni Smith-Arsenault, vice president for enrollment management and student success. “Whether you are a high school student considering dual enrollment or planning for post-graduation, an adult learner looking to advance your career or a returning or transfer student seeking guidance on degree completion, our open house is tailored to meet you where you are.”
Staff from Student Financial Services will be on hand to provide information to prospective students and families about financial aid, state programs allowing for tuition-free community college and completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Additionally, staff from the Admission and Registrar’s offices will offer walk-in support for questions about application requirements and transfer credit evaluations.
Advance registration is encouraged, though walk-ins are welcome. To register or learn more about the event, visit gcc.mass.edu/openhouse.
