8:50 a.m. — Report of four goats on Adams Road. Goats reside in a shed on the left near the high-tension wires. Services rendered.
2:21 p.m. — Katharine S. Kemble-Lund, 33, of Pray Drive in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant on Pray Drive.
3:07 p.m. — Reporting party states there is a female party sitting on the sidewalk at Dollar General on Federal Street yelling at passersby, flipping people off and throwing objects. Known party declined services.
3:22 p.m. — Reporting party states a female party is jumping into traffic, walking in the middle of the northbound lane on Federal Street, spitting at vehicles, chasing cars down and flipping people off. Additional call about the female party being in the middle of the roadway behaving erratically. Another concerned passerby states the woman is chasing her car and is worried she will come up to her when she gets to Cumberland Farms. Officer spoke with the known party, who stated she is cold, hungry and upset over a variety of issues. Brought her to McDonald’s to warm up.
4:37 p.m. — Reporting party would like to speak to an officer about handing out papers. Caller wishes to hand out material in public. Not soliciting and the material is appropriate. Caller just wanted to know the legalities. Caller was advised that this activity is a protected right and it should not be an issue.
8:30 p.m. — Traffic stop at Federal and Linden streets. Gregory Stephen Hale, 37, of Lyman Road in Northfield, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.
Tuesday, Nov. 18
12:09 a.m. — Police pursuit on Colrain Road. Driver of a red sedan failed to stop at the stop sign at Colrain and Nash’s Mill roads. Vehicle reached speeds of around 90 mph. Officer lost sight of the vehicle at the Greenfield Community College roundabout. Unable to locate.
12:35 p.m. — Caller would like to speak to an officer regarding the extra paving done at Homestead Avenue and Shelburne Road. Too much pavement is causing walking on the street to be more difficult. Services rendered.
Wednesday, Nov. 19
2:33 p.m. — Michael Eugene Mayo, 34, of Kenwood Street in Greenfield, was arrested on two warrants.
9:53 p.m. — Traffic stop on Davis Street. Evelyn Mary Fleming-Carey, 52, of Ripley Road in Montague, was arrested on charges of OUI-liquor over .08%, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and an expired inspection sticker.
Thursday, Nov. 20
7:16 a.m. — Hastings Street resident reporting fraud. Caller reports someone booked a hotel in Iowa with all her information. Report taken.
9:10 a.m. — Disturbance reported on Leonard Street. Caller states she can hear a female yelling but cannot understand her and does not know where it is coming from. Officers located the female party, who was on the phone with her daughter. Nothing needed.
Friday, Nov. 21
1:37 a.m. — Traffic stop at Hope and Olive streets. Maryann E. Milotte, 51, of Conway Street in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, possession of a Class A drug, possession of a Class B drug and a number plate violation.
3:37 p.m. — Reporting party on Main Street states that around 30 minutes ago, he witnessed a male party on a bike taking photos of his property through his surveillance camera. Caller states he witnessed someone take photos of the property at around 5:30 a.m. as well. Reporting party was not aware of property assessors being active in the city but stated he was not able to see if they had an ID. Reporting party stated he would double-check his cameras and call back if anyone returns.
7:24 p.m. — Reporting party states she heard someone screaming in the parking lot in front of Bootlegger’s Footwear Center on the Mohawk Trail. Area checked, including the surrounding lots. Nothing located.
Saturday, Nov. 22
7:31 a.m. — Noise complaint involving leaf blowing on Union Street. Caller wants to know what the noise ordinance is in Greenfield. Spoke with reporting party about disturbing the peace, but there isn’t a city ordinance for noise.
11:17 p.m. — Caller from Deerfield Street reports an upstairs neighbor is banging on the walls. Reporting party did ask her to stop but the noise has continued. Officers sent. Female party stated she broke a heel on a shoe and will quiet down for the night. Peace restored.
Sunday, Nov. 23
7:25 a.m. — Caller from Wilson Avenue reporting someone etched inappropriate words in the frost on his car. Services rendered.
2:50 p.m. — Vandalism reported on Elm Street. Reporting party states a truck with a trailer pulled onto his lawn and damaged his property. Report issued.
2:52 p.m. — Reporting party from Church Street reports that a squirrel is possibly stuck in his chimney. Transferred to the animal control officer.
7:04 p.m. — Reporting party on Mill Street reports being grabbed and thrown on the ground. Rebecca A. Donais, 36, of Mill Street in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of assault and battery, and assault and battery on a 60-plus/disabled person.
