Monday, Oct. 27

8:18 a.m. — Reporting party states he was walking in the parking lot at the Greenfield Skate Park on Chapman Street and noticed small plastic baggies on the ground with what appears to be white powder in them. Handful of ZYN pouches. Picked up and thrown away.

1:27 p.m. — Adam Mikeal Powell, 37, of Chapman Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant as well as on a charge of intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official.

2:20 p.m. — Crash reported at High and Beacon streets. Caller reports a van struck the stone wall in front of the hospital. Caller states a male party got out of the vehicle, then left on foot headed toward Sanderson Street. Security at Baystate Franklin Medical Center called advising they have the incident on camera. Jason Steven Englen, 43, of Broadview Heights in Turners Falls, was arrested on a warrant, as well as on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, number plate violation to conceal ID, unregistered motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation.

7:24 p.m. — Reporting party states he is hearing a female swearing and screaming in the area of the Greenfield Skate Park on Chapman Street. Reporting party states he is hearing a deep growl, too. Checked the area and spoke with multiple individuals who did not hear anything. Checked the park and the Portland Loo. Unable to locate.

11:18 p.m. — Caller reports a male party in a flannel shirt is walking around the complex at Cedar Glen Circle using his phone as a flashlight. Male party told the reporting party’s wife that he is looking for Emily in No. 25. Reporting party states a No. 25 does not exist. Male party was trying to meet up with someone and was given the wrong address. Male party thinks he is being scammed.

Tuesday, Oct. 28

12:59 p.m. — Officer attempting to serve a warrant at Energy Park. Lorie Ann Clarke, 46, of Greenfield, was arrested on two warrants, as well as on a charge of possession of a Class E drug.

3:09 p.m. — Reporting party on Phillips Street reports she was walking to go look at a new apartment and her current landlord followed her until he saw where she was going and then kept driving. Reporting party is worried her landlord is trying to ruin her chances of getting a new place to live. Advised party the incident would be documented.

5:16 p.m. — Reporting party reports items were stolen from his storage unit at All Purpose Storage on Wisdom Way. Entry made into unit within the last three weeks. Reporting party will make a list and forward information for a report.

5:56 p.m. — Reporting party reports someone is possibly breaking into an abandoned property on Fort Square and sleeping there at night. Found a blanket, also noticed some power tools missing. Party wants checks of home. Services rendered.

Wednesday, Oct. 29

10:50 a.m. — Caller from Federal Street reports two plastic lawn chairs were taken overnight. Believes a male party, who is allegedly living on a dirt road off Beacon Street, took them. Services rendered.

5:48 p.m. — Bike reported stolen on Federal Street. Report taken.

6:42 p.m. — Reporting party called speaking Portuguese, transferred to language services for assistance. Reporting party reporting a male party at a Main Street location is tearing things up and yelling at cleaning staff. Male party was removed.

11:02 p.m. — Caller from Haywood Street thinks there is someone on her front porch. Caller states that she heard footsteps and went to a different part of the residence out of fear. Checked yard and porch, no one in the area.

Thursday, Oct. 30

7:15 a.m. — Caller on Conway Street is upset that her personal belongings are in trash bags on the porch of her house. Reporting party wanted it documented due to her court situation.

11:31 a.m. — Caller from Meridian Street reports tents from an encampment are on his property. Caller is looking to see if an officer could help with having them moved along. They are on his land that is near the softball field at the dog park. Services rendered.

Friday, Oct. 31

7:16 a.m. — Report of flooding in front on Manny’s Appliances on River Street. Department of Public Works advised.

3:51 p.m. — Pieces of plywood reported in the road near the Interstate 91 rotary. Officer assisted with traffic while the load was secured.

7:34 p.m. — Reporting party reports a male party is hitting his dog in front of kids. Reporting party also states he threatened her boyfriend. Male party was headed up to Highland Pond. Gone on arrival.

Saturday, Nov. 1

12:15 a.m. — Caller from Summer Street reports a dog has been barking for the past two hours. Officer located the dog. Dog was let back in the house and was happy to be inside. Services rendered.

4:22 p.m. — Suspicious activity reported on Lunt Drive. Reporting party reporting two teens entered the wooded area that leads to trails, carrying what appears to be a rifle. Checked area, no one within view from the roadway. No one exited the tree line while the officer was there. No gunshots heard.

4:44 p.m. — Report of a vehicle operating erratically on Silver Street. Vehicle was stopping randomly in the middle of travel lanes and swerving. Officer out with a van in the Dollar General parking lot. Spoke with driver who stated her glasses case fell under the brake pedal, explaining driving behaviors. No signs of impairment.

Sunday, Nov. 2

2:37 a.m. — Reporting party states she can hear people fighting and screaming in the area of Chapman Court. Only noise that could be heard was a loud TV in an upstairs apartment. No sounds of distress. No fighting heard or observed.

11:48 a.m. — Report of a parking problem at Green River Park. Spoke with involved parties for the football league and pickleball. All parties receptive to moving vehicles and will pass along the information going forward. Recommended to park at the school for overflow.

3:56 p.m. — Threat reported at Beacon Field. Reporting party reports being chased by five or six people who stated they were going to get a car and more people to come finish what they started. Parties are in a beat-up black Toyota Camry. Caller was hiding and is now sitting near the baseball diamond, afraid to keep walking home because the people who threatened her stated they know where she lives. Provided courtesy transport.

10:24 p.m. — Reporting party from the Weldon House on High Street states she is in a power recliner chair and the electrical cord has come unplugged from the wall. Reporting party just needs someone to plug her chair back in for her. Services rendered.
