But of course, “I’m not the only one.” John Lennon’s “Imagine” is one of my all-time favorites. I’ve often thought how amazing this world would be if it could be as One. Even though we are already “one” as a collective, many are blind to the notion.
Just “Imagine”: No borders, freedom to roam all over the planet. No militaries, because there would be no need. No fighting, because love would eventually consume. No killing, because since we are “One” it would be like killing ourselves.
We could all work as “One” to make this planet amazing again. Ego would start to dissolve and true heartbeat would return. It’s kind of crazy that we have just one world, we live in different worlds.
So I truly don’t have all the answers for humanity to ever get to that beautiful place. But what I do know is that the true key is everything is love, compassion, empathy, and inclusion. Once that is in your heart, you are well on your way to changing the world one person at a time.
So even though I’m still a dreamer, I know I’m not the only one. Someday the world will truly be as “One.” Imagine!
