Nancy Robie was the winner in a Four Club and a Putter contest at Country Club of Greenfield on Tuesday, carding a score of 83.
Terry Boyce took second (86). Susan O’Connor shot the low net (73) followed by Teresa Varner (75). In Flight Two, Gail Miller (88) and Michele Hazlett (95) carded the low gross scores while Lane Kelly (68) and Julie Bailey (70) finished with the low net scores.
In the Nine Hole Flight Margo Worden (46) and Ellen Bitzer (50) tallied the low gross scores while Susan Ruggeri (37) and June Heideman (41) finished with the low net scores.
Over in the 9 Hole Women’s League at Country Club of Greenfield Tuesday Chris Eugin shot the low gross of 42 followed by Nancy Robie with a 44 in the Patty Berg Flight during a 3 Clubs and Putter contest.
Ellen Bitzer (47) and Lora Gross (48) led the Nancy Lopez Flight, Elaine Mount (47) and Sue Channel (51) topped the Joanna Carner Flight, Karen Zerneri (48), Sandy Ruggeri (49) and Ann Lyman (49) finished atop the Lorena Ochoa Flight, Julie Beres (50) and Emily Keyser (52) led the Annika Sorenstom Flight while Barb Morris (48) led the Michelle Wie Flight.
Don Maynard Road Race
The Don Maynard Memorial Road Race returns to Greenfield in September, with the race scheduled for Sept. 20.
The race is changing from a five miler to a 5K race this year, beginning at the Greenfield Municipal Swimming Area at 9:30 a.m. Online registration is available at RunSignup.com. Any questions or to volunteer call or text Chuck Adams at 413-522-6688.

Running
The 44th Montague Mug Race is right around the corner, with signups ongoing for the race which is scheduled for Aug. 16.
The race is 5.5 miles with a 2-mile mini run/walk option as well. The race begins at Montague Center Common at 8:30 a.m. with the 2-mile race kicking off at 8:35 a.m. Both races finish at the ball field on Station Street. All proceeds from the race benefit the Montague Fire Association and Montague Church. Pewter Mugs are awarded to the top male and female finisher.
