
Hunter Donahue and Hayden Girard each cracked two hits as the Greenfield Post 81 Junior Legion squad improved to 11-1 on the season with a 13-6 victory victory over Belchertown on Thursday at Vets Field.
Conner Bergeron singled and scored three times while Luca Siano, Aiden Shea, Arthur Fitzpatrick and Paxton Phelps each cracked a hit in the win. Chase Zraunig earned the win on the mound, allowing just two hits in 4 2/3 innings relief.

JC Electric 2, Palmeri Electric 1 — Osiah Ballard surrendered just three hits and struck out six on the mound, Colton Corey tallied two hits, Colton Cunningham singled in a run while Collin Sprague, Ballard and Trey Dupuis hit safely in JC Electric’s victory on Friday in Whitingham.
Gunnar Triggs knocked two hits, Sam Hunter hit safely while Caleb Kimberly struck out nine in the loss.

Rick Stempel and Curt White shot the low gross of 34 while Andy Harrison and Jim Laford took second (36) in the Timmons-Messer League at Northfield Golf Club on Wednesday.
Dave Brady and Dan Arsenault won a match of cards over Jack Letourneau and Doug Turner to card the low net (26). Neal Slocombe won closest to the pin on No. 6 (10 feet, eight inches) and Nate Pecor won on No. 7 (4-6). Arsenault, White and Jeff Seymour were the match medalists (37).

Jim Elwell and Pete Quintana tied with the pairs of Jonathon Moore and Doug Fontaine and Bob Walker and Bob Wondoloski for first with 125 points in the Greenfield Elks League at Country Club of Greenfield Wednesday.
Gary Noga and Randy Bernard tied with Kevin Coughlin and Shane Parker for second (121) while George Platek and John Kaczensk took third (120).
Paul Veins won closest to the pin on No. 2 (8-1) and Fontaine won it on No. 5 (15-5).
