9:45 a.m. — Report of a parking problem on Osgood Street. Complaint regarding a parking ticket. Involved party did not put money in the meter. Services rendered.

10:46 a.m. — Reporting party states someone stole statues from her grandmother’s grave at Federal Street Cemetery. Theft happened sometime within the past two weeks. A concrete angel and cherub statue were taken. The angel statue is 25 years old. Reporting party later called back to report the items were found.

1:12 p.m. — Reporting party states a male party biked up to her house on Petty Plain Road this morning, appeared to stare in her window, then left. She would just like this documented.

2:18 p.m. — Caller reports his oxycodone was stolen off his bicycle approximately an hour ago while it was parked outside 49 Main St. Report issued.

7:41 p.m. — Report of breaking and entering into a vehicle at Davis and Ames streets. Window broken and alarm going off on a white Subaru. Two males ran across the street through the bank parking lot. Dispatch unable to locate them on the cameras. $7 was stolen from the vehicle.

Wednesday, May 28

9:49 a.m. — Three people fighting at Main and High streets. Verbal altercation. Mediated and advised of options. Peace restored.

10:24 a.m. — Reporting party near CVS Pharmacy reports losing his oxycodone. Believes it fell out of his jacket pocket. Same reporting party had reported the medication stolen on May 27. Reporting party was advised he would be issued a summons for filing a false report.

10:52 a.m. — Multiple calls regarding a motorcycle crash near McDonald’s on Federal Street. Witnesses reported the motorcycle was “flying down” Federal Street at speeds between 50 mph and 60 mph before swerving to avoid a van and then struck a Honda. Medical helicopter requested. Department of Public Works requested to help close the road. Signs requested for the intersections with Hastings and Kenwood streets, as well as at Forest and Linden avenues. Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Section responding to investigate.

11:29 a.m. — Report of a subject waving around a knife on Main Street. Subject advised he was showing his knife to friends. He was informed of the complaint. Services rendered.

7:09 p.m. — Report of a male party acting belligerent. Library staff stated he was behind the main desk at the library and is now walking out of the building. Subject was located on Ames Street touching the bartender at The Doc & Witch. Anthony Wade Ruehle, 50, of Petty Plain Road in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct (subsequent offense), resisting arrest, and indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over.

8:24 p.m. — Caller from Mill Street reports people are fighting downstairs. She can hear yelling and things being thrown. Officers sent. Involved party was upset with the toilet overflowing. Services rendered.

Thursday, May 29

8:53 a.m. — Report of breaking and entering into a vehicle on Franklin Street. A backpack with journals inside and six empty methadone bottles were stolen. No cameras in the area. Services rendered.

3:24 p.m. — John Edmund Cahill, 44, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant at Baystate Franklin Medical Center on High Street.

7:29 p.m. — Reporting party states a male party is outside her house on Cedar Glen Circle harassing her. Daniel T. Newton, 65, of Cedar Glen Circle in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.

Friday, May 30

12:14 a.m. — Marc P. Houlihan, 45, of Federal Street in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of OUI-liquor over .08%, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle lights violation following a traffic stop at Federal and Garfield streets.

4:25 a.m. — Reporting party states a dark-colored minivan pulled up on Orchard Street and a male party got out and was walking with a flashlight. Vehicle then left heading northbound. Officer reporting it was an Amazon delivery driver attempting to locate an address.

8:39 a.m. — Krishna M. Vaughan, 50, of Colrain Road in Greenfield, was arrested at Main and Federal streets on charges of strangulation/suffocation, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and breaking and entering during the daytime with intent to commit a felony.

10:47 a.m. — Report of breaking and entering into a vehicle on Wells Street. Caller reports that sometime between Wednesday and this morning, someone smashed the rear side window and entered the vehicle. Four knives and a hatchet were stolen. Report issued.

11:17 a.m. — Jennifer Lee Lowell, 52, of Montague City Road in Turners Falls, was arrested on a warrant, as well as on charges of assault and battery, and vandalizing property.

5:06 p.m. — Caller reports his set of golf clubs and a driver were stolen off a table in front of the golf pro shop at the Country Club of Greenfield during a tournament. Caller called back to advise he found his golf clubs.

5:16 p.m. — Caller reporting her neighbor called her a racial slur. Neighbor is now threatening to shoot. Caller states he has reason to believe the involved male has a firearm. Billy Y. Roman Bruno, 31, of Wells Street in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of home invasion, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, vandalizing property and disorderly conduct.

Saturday, May 31

10:17 a.m. — Reporting party on Franklin Street reports he lost his wallet a few days ago and, since then, his Florence Savings Bank card has been used in several places. Party was advised to contact his bank, put a stop on the card and request documentation of the fraudulent charges. Report issued.

11:53 a.m. — Reporting party from Greenfield Savings Bank on Main Street states there is a male party harassing people in the drive-thru. Male party was moved along.

12:47 p.m. — Report of threats being made on Riverside Drive. Taleek Buckner, 39, of Riverside Drive in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of vandalizing property.

Sunday, June 1

12:10 a.m. — Kenneth Nicholas Rogers, 28, of Fairway Avenue in Turners Falls, was arrested on Route 2 on charges of possession of a Class B drug (two counts), operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration.

10:00 p.m. — Caller reporting a truck in the parking lot of Greenfield Glass on River Street is playing loud music. Advised of noise complaint.

11:05 p.m. — Reporting party reports hearing a loud bang in the area of Summer Street. Officer canvassed the area, nothing out of the ordinary found.
