Da Camera Singers to perform Sunday

GREENFIELD — Led by Artistic Director Sheila Heffernon, the Da Camera Singers will present “Songs for Healing and Hope” at the Episcopal Church of Saints James and Andrew on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 4 p.m.

Cultural Council awards 40 grants

GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Cultural Council has awarded 40 grants totaling $22,973 to a wide array of arts and culture projects in the greater Greenfield area.

Grants ranged from $133 to $1,200 and support areas like dance, literature, media arts, music, theater and visual arts.

In 2024, the Cultural Council conducted a community survey that informed local priorities for the types of projects to fund.

The selection of grant recipients took place in December following a review of more than 80 applicants seeking a total of $72,000 in requested funds.

The next round of Cultural Council funding will take place in the fall of 2025 for the 2026 calendar year.

The funded projects are as follows:
