I’ve never attended an anti-racism workshop. Since I’m not afflicted with WGS (White Guilt Syndrome), I need not associate with people who are. Recent guest columnist Rev. Andrea Ayvazian used to lead anti-racism workshops back in the 1990s. According to her, “White kids need dolls and action figures of colors and books that feature kids and families of color. White kids need to see pediatricians of color, have teachers of color, and play with children in diverse settings,” (“Children will learn racism if that’s what they see and hear,” Recorder, Sept. 25).

I do think the outspoken liberal, Bill Maher, would chastise the reverend. “There’s a weird self-loathing going on among white liberals, and it’s gotta stop,” he said. “It’s not helping anyone.” It certainly isn’t, yet writers like Ms. Ayvazian out there want all of us whites to be ashamed of being white. Well, I’m not ashamed! I like looking in the mirror every day and seeing my white mug.

Clearly, all the liberals wanna do is divide us. If you like Trump, they call you a racist. If you were against Obama, they called you a racist. But if you support Joe Biden, you’re not a racist (never mind that he used to dine with segregationists like Democrat Sen. James Eastland from Mississippi, who called African Americans “an inferior race”). I am sick of the left calling Republicans racists. I’m sick of seeing only one skin color capitalized. I’m sick of hearing about white privilege, which is something the liberals concocted. Again, they just wanna divide us. Ayvazians column also says, “Children have to be carefully taught not to absorb the toxicity around them.” I agree with her. That’s why it’s imperative for children to stay far, far away from the liberals.
