Both Gov. Maura Healey and Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll both endorsed Mayor RoxannWedegartner. What an honor it is as most pols high up on the food chain normally do not endorse local pols.
Aside from these endorsements, one must look back after Wedegartner’s first election. Our former mayor had many projects on his plate and Wedegartner had to carry on with these projects needing immediate attention.
I could list all of the projects she moved to the front burner but this one item struck home: “Ensuring Greenfield’s fiscal sustainability.” Wedegartern made the tough decisions that needed to be made to treat our city employees fairly.
I urge the citizens of our fine city to support Mayor RoxannWedegartner for reelection on Nov. 7.
