
John Demko sank a hole-in-one at Thomas Memorial Golf & Country Club in Turners Falls on Sunday, doing so on hole No. 7.
Demko’s shot came from 132 yards out using a pitching wedge. It was witnessed by George Cooke, Sally Malloy and Dan Malloy.

Justin McCloud and Andy Lesenski placed first with a gross score of 135 in the Barber Collins Two Ball Tournament at the Country Club of Greenfield over the weekend.
Connor Piecuch and Will Conant tied with Jason Kelton and David Kennedy for second (137). Shaun Fleming and Chris Demers tied with Andrew Wroblewski and Alex Towne for the low net (125).
In the Collins Flight Kevin O’Connell and Matt Pitoniak tied with Rod Herzig and Bob Bourbeau for first (147), with John Ryan and Jeff Racz settling for third (150). Mike Plager and Roy Emerson shot the low net (125).

Franklin County Bulldogs
The Franklin County Junior Bulldogs moved to 4-0 on the season with a 14-13 win over Easthampton on Sunday behind 158 yards and two touchdowns on the ground from Xaviay Reynolds.
Bryce Zraunig had 22 yards receiving and four tackles, Alden Parker converted the two-point try and made three tackles while Liam Gould had three tackles and a sack in the win.
■ The PeeWee Bulldogs beat Easthampton, 10-0, Sunday with Ben Keeler recording the lone touchdown before Sean Winslow found Kaydin Snow-Rose for the two-point try.
Brock Puchalski and Gavin Keene each had 36 yards on the ground, Puchalski added a safety and five tackles, Owen Castine, Toby Campbell and Jace Brunelle each made three tackles, Weston Hobbs had a tackle and Pheonyx Maynard recovered a fumble in the win.
Frontier Youth
The Frontier youth football teams squared up against South Hadley on Sunday, with the Frontier PeeWee’s coming out with a 6-0 win behind a Johnny Stanisewski touchdown run.
The Frontier Junior team earned a 14-0 win behind a pair of rushing touchdowns from Prestyn Petrizzi-Richmond. Teague Washburn hit Aiden Pitchko for a two-point try.
Pitchko had an interception, Harry Doody and Carter Greene led the way on the ground while Henry Wood Travis and Owen Williams played well up front. Troy Kostiuk recovered a fumble in the win.
The Frontier seniors picked up a 21-0 win behind touchdown runs from Noah Poreda and Ber Calhoun as well as a kick return from Riggins Kopcza. Kimmie Taylor and Chase Greene had the two-point tries.
Mak Rodgers threw touchdown passes to Bryce Marcellius (2) and Cedric Gonnet to lead Amherst Office Park to a 21-6 win over Team Cerious on Sunday. Seth Aldridge found Anthony Jacobs for Cerious’ lone touchdown of the game.
In the second game of the day Adam Bastarache found Jalen Sanders for a pair of scores while also connecting with Malachi Roman for a touchdown in Gill CC Wood Working’s 25-0 win over the Blitzing Bears on Sunday. Bastarache added a pick six in the victory.
To close out the day Jordan Markham Sr. threw six touchdown passes, two each to Tom Field and Tyson Charboneau while also finding Tyson Dowdy and Mason Meadows for scores as the Namaste Rockets picked up a 46-0 win over the Namaste Pink Panthers on Sunday. Dowdy added a pick six in the win.
