I am supporting Virginia “Ginny” DeSorgher for mayor of Greenfield. I believe Ginny is uniquely qualified to ensure Greenfield is governed with compassion and foresight to secure a bright future for all of the citizens of Greenfield, including schoolchildren, businesses, families, senior citizens, the unhoused, and the underserved.
Ginny has been on a months-long listening tour to meet all of the residents of Greenfield, hear our concerns, take them into account and use the information she has gleaned as guidance as she moves forward to become our next mayor.
As a council member and chair of the Ways and Means Committee, Ginny has the fiscal knowledge and experience to guide our community on the path to a bright future. Ginny works well with the council and understands that the role of the council is to advise the mayor on the many aspects of financing and governing our city. Ginny will listen to their diverse opinions, respect the expertise of the council members and really pay attention to the recommendations that they make.
I am confident that Ginny will work to promote the sense of community and provide Greenfield with the leadership we need to move forward.
