Greenfield High School alum Raegan Hickey continues to score goals for the Stonehill field hockey team. 

Hickey, a senior All-American, tallied a pair of goals on Friday in the Skyhawks’ 4-2 loss to Bryant. Both goals came off penalty corners. 

Hickey now has 17 goals in 39 career games at Stonehill. This season she has three of the Skyhawks’ five goals. 

Bowling

Shelburne Falls results

The pairings of Scott Schneider and Kendall Schneider tied with Rob Wood and Nick Brown for the high single of 100 while Scott Schneider and Kendall Schneider rolled the high triple of 280 in Sunday Scotch Doubles last week at the Shelburne Falls Bowling Alley. 

In the Monday Mixed League Missy Finn shot the women’s high single (106) and tied with Jen Tobey for the women’s high triple (281) while John Rodgers and Stu Kingsley shot the men’s high single (139) and Kingsley shot the men’s high triple (335). In the Wednesday Mixed League Jenay Hall rolled the women’s high single (105), Samantha Purinton had th women’s high triple (280) while Erich Price had the men’s high single (120) and triple (324). 

Colleen Barrows had the women’s high single (111) and triple (300) while James Harrison had the men’s high single (115) and Josh Slysz had the men’s high triple (286) in the Thursday Mixed Social. 

Golf

Jon Hunt Two Ball

David Laravee and Ed Garbacik shot the low gross of 66 to win the Jon Hunt Senior Two Ball at the Country Club of Greenfield on Friday. 

Ken Buffington and Scott Harger shot the low net (61). Michael Oleksak and Steve Mihalek won the Stricker Flight (67), Cob Carlson and Robert Linn won the Langer Flight (68), John Gale and Jack Ackert took the Palmer Flight (67), Chuck Yetter and Phil Reilley took the Stricker Flight (63), Bill Luippold and Roy Emerson won the Langer Flight (64) while Bill Luippold and Matt Pitoniak came in first in the Palmer Flight (62).

Greenfield Elks League

Joe Lachance and Bill Martin took first with 87.5 points in the Greenfield Elks League at the Country Club of Greenfield on Wednesday. 

Sharon Rawson and Jonathan Moore took second (86.5) while Bill Erman and Paul Viens placed third (86). Keith Schempp won closest to the pin on No. 2 (nine feet, .75 inches) while Frank McDonald won it on No. 5 (9-5). 

Middle schools

Athol soccer

The Athol Middle School boys soccer team fell to Garnder, 3-2, on Friday. Athol has nine returning players and nine new players and tied the game, 2-2, in the second half.
