BUCKLAND — The Buckland Public Library at 30 Upper St. will host two events in July: an interactive story time for children ages 2 to 4 with Jules Skloot at 11 a.m. on July 1; and a craft raffle and book sale, as part of Buckland Day on the Common, starting at 10:30 a.m. on July 15.
BUCKLAND — The Buckland Historical Society will be open for visitors on Sundays, July 9 and 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. The society’s Wilder Homestead is located at 129 Ashfield Road (Route 112).
The furnished 1775 saltbox home with five fireplaces and the 1820s shoemaking shop will be open for tours. The English barn will be under construction, but people can see the project’s progress.
BUCKLAND — State Sen. Paul Mark’s staff will hold office hours on Tuesdays, July 11 and 25, from 10 a.m. to noon at Buckland Town Hall.
Constituents of Mark’s Berkshire, Hampden, Franklin and Hampshire District are encouraged to ask for assistance with issues involving any state agency or share ideas on current or potential state legislation. Appointments are not needed.
