NORTHFIELD — The Northfield Kiwanis Club’s Holiday Craft Fair and Raffle is back and bigger than ever this year, with 22 artists and craftspeople set to sell their items.
The event is on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Northfield Elementary School.
Along with items for sale, more than 50 items that were donated by participating artists and local businesses will be included in a raffle.
Money raised through the annual fair supports giving food and clothing gift certificates to local families in need. In a statement, Kiwanis Club Treasurer Steve Stoia said, “We had a great team soliciting gifts this year, which really helped us accomplish more.”
“We couldn’t meet our charitable goals if not for the kindness and empathy of our local businesses,” he added.
While the craft fair will be held in the school’s gymnasium and cafeteria, the Northfield Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization will offer a Scholastic Book Fair in the school library. Additionally, Fiddleheads Gallery’s 10% off holiday sale will be held across the street from the school at 105 Main St. The gallery features unique jewelry, scarves, household art and clothing.
