WHATELY — Ahead of the Nov. 29 Special Town Meeting, the town is hosting a voter registration session on Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. at the Town Offices, 4 Sandy Lane.
Voters must be registered by Friday at 5 p.m., otherwise they will not be able to vote at Special Town Meeting. On the warrant is Community Preservation Act funding for the First Congregational Church, and creating special stabilization fund accounts for opioid settlement and marijuana revenue.
Special Town Meeting will be held on Nov. 29 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Offices.
DEERFIELD — The last day to register for Deerfield’s special election concerning a debt-exclusion override to authorize borrowing for Tilton Library’s expansion is Nov. 25.
Residents may register to vote online or visit the Town Clerk’s Office in Town Hall, 8 Conway St., Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The special election, set for Dec. 6, will ask voters if they wish to authorize the appropriation of $12.3 million for Tilton Library’s expansion project — although the actual amount borrowed will most likely be in the $5.26 million to $6.26 million range. The library received a $4 million grant through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners in July that must be matched for the town to retain it.
Mail-in ballots are available and residents must apply for one by Nov. 29.
CONWAY — The deadline to register for December’s Special Town Meeting is Nov. 30.

Special Town Meeting will be held on Dec. 10.
Pioneer Valley

The holiday is being offered to promote PVTA’s services to residents around the valley. In Franklin County, PVTA primarily services Sunderland with a stop in South Deerfield near Interstate 91, Exit 35.
