In a Sept. 16 letter to the editor in the Recorder, the writer is troubled over having to pay a few pennies more for a kilowatt hour of electricity and perhaps suffering in his home at 68 degrees in the winter and 78 degrees in the summer. Meanwhile, people all over the world are losing their homes and loved ones to devastating fires, floods, monsoons, heat waves, etc. The selfish generation rolls on.
