Nick Kasham returned an interception for a touchdown, the lone score of the game, to lift the Blitzing Bears to a 6-0 win over Deerfield Tavern in a Greenfield Touch Football League contest on Sunday.
Tyson Dowdy and Pete Loguie each had interceptions while Walter Perry and Mike Lopez each had two sacks in the loss.
In the second game of the day Parker Hickey tossed touchdowns to Nuny Vega, Brody Markol, Tyler LaRoux and Ben Padua to lead Sirum to a 30-0 win over the Enterprise. Christopher Charles and Marcel Chatain played well in the loss.
Closing out the day, Pat Viencek threw two touchdowns to Adam Bastarache and one each to Dave Watson and Jalen Sanders in Deerfield Wood Working’s 24-6 triumph over Amherst Office Park.
Julio Feliciano hauled in a touchdown pass from Mac Rodgers in the loss.
Greenfield’s Raegan Hickey netted a pair of goals to lift the Stonehill field hockey team to a 4-3 overtime win over Lindenwood on Sunday in Maryland.
The win was Stonehill’s first as a Div. 1 program.
