5:30 a.m. — Clerk at Cumberland Farms reports a woman is inside the store causing a commotion, requests she be moved along. All units tied up, State Police responding.
11:17 p.m. — Caller reports three men refusing to leave The Rendezvous on Third Street. Officer spoke to the clerk who advises patrons helped escort the involved men outside and locked the door. Officer will be checking the area.
10:08 a.m. — Caller on Millers Falls Road requests an officer speak to their neighbor about their dog that barks nonstop. Both parties were advised of options.
5:24 p.m. — Caller reports he switched vehicles with another man this morning and they were supposed to switch back around noon but he has not been able to reach him. Caller is concerned he won’t get his property back. Caller has the involved party’s truck. Caller later called back stating that the involved party is now in Hinsdale, New Hampshire and is beating around the bush on returning his vehicle, was supposed to meet him in Northfield. Officer advised the caller that if he is unable to get his car, he can come to the station to fill out paperwork.
9:51 p.m. — Caller reports a motorcycle traveling northbound at excessive speeds on Turners Falls Road. Unable to locate.
10:50 a.m. — Caller reports finding her Third Street door latch taped with black Gorilla tape this morning. She believes someone is doing this to gain entry to her apartment.
11:01 a.m. — Accidental dial from a woman jogging on Newton Street.
7:48 p.m. — Caller reports a homeless encampment in the wooded area above Canal Street. Caller is concerned for his father’s safety as he lives right on the border of the woods.
8:01 p.m. — Caller reports two kids stole two 2-liter bottles of soda from Carroll’s Market on East Main Street. Officer spoke with the two juveniles involved and their mother, who agreed to go back to the store and pay for the soda.
1:38 a.m. — Caller reports a man was trying to break into someone’s apartment on Avenue A. Involved male was kicking the door. No longer on scene. Officer checked the building, building is secure. Surrounding area is quiet.
3:54 p.m. — Caller reports a group of people have been consistently outside her Avenue A business for a week now. She suspects drug activity. Officers advised.
4:53 p.m. — Caller reports a dark gray Honda SUV has been parked outside 9 Clark Ave. with the engine running since 2 p.m. When approached by the caller, woman inside the vehicle said she was waiting to pick someone up. Vehicle gone before officer’s arrival.
7:48 p.m. — Caller reports hearing screaming coming from the hill near the horseshoe pits on Eleventh Street. Unsure if it is an animal or a person. Quiet upon officer’s arrival.
