Wednesday, June 8

4:23 p.m. — Caller reports approximately 10 kids in the alleyway at 25 Fourth St. Police advised that upon arrival, many juveniles dispersed down both sides of the alley. Police spoke with a couple of juveniles behind the pizza house who said there wasn’t a fight, but that there was supposed to be one. Police drove around to make sure everyone stayed dispersed and spoke to other juveniles, who said they would not cause an issue.

Thursday, June 9

4:07 p.m. — Caller from Turners Falls Road states he has a bear problem and wants the game warden to call him. Caller was provided a phone number for the Environmental Police.

6:36 p.m. — Caller reports her daughter and her friends were at Unity Park when other juveniles approached the group and one threatened a friend with a gun, showing the gun. Police located and detained the juveniles briefly, finding one to have a broken BB gun on them. Police made contact with one of the mothers, who said she would meet them at the park.

Friday, June 10

4:50 p.m. — Dylan Ford, 37, of H Street in Turners Falls, was cited for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. Vehicle’s owner came, took possession of it.

Saturday, June 11

12:56 p.m. — Walk-in from Taylor Hill Road reports someone smashed her mailbox the previous night, totally destroyed it.

7:50 p.m. — Caller from the 99 Fourth St. apartment building says he was just informed by a downstairs tenant that a BB was shot through their bathroom window the previous night. Caller wanted to speak with an officer.

Sunday, June 12

3:45 p.m. — Caller on Central Street thinks he may have bought a stolen motorcycle. Caller stated he asked the seller for a title and he did not give him one. VIN does not come back as stolen.

10:02 p.m. — An officer observed individuals dumping garbage and household items at the Salvation Army clothing bins on Unity Street, had them load it all back into their vehicle.

Monday, June 13

4:19 p.m. — Caller reports that roughly 40 minutes ago, she was walking on the bike path between Cumberland Farms and the former Farren Care Center when three men started following her and then started chasing her. Caller hid in a bush and a friend came to pick her up.

11:51 p.m. — Caller reports roughly 25 kids who are yelling at an individual. Caller is worried they might harm him or her. Another caller reports roughly eight or nine individuals looking for someone, believes the group may have a stun gun. Group was last seen running up Fourth Street toward the second apartment building. An officer spoke to a couple people, was told the matter was possibly over a pair of shoes. A female caller advised she believes she knows where the involved people are, and believes they may have weapons. An officer planned to meet with the caller.
