Terry and Ann Reed of Orange marked their milestone 40th wedding anniversary recently with a celebratory dinner enjoyed at the home of their daughter, Vivian Eliza Nichols, a theater professional residing in the greater Worcester area.
The celebration was also joined by their son, Desmond Reed, a comic book author living in the Boston area. Terry Reed and the former Ann Fallon were married on May 23, 1981 at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Troy, New York, by Father Oleksij Limonchenko. For their recent celebration, Terry, a media specialist and Ann, a freelance writer, wore jewelry apropos for this “ruby anniversary” — presents from relatives.
The couple plans to celebrate throughout 2021, including with jaunts to visit surviving members of their wedding party and time spent on their dinghy, which Terry crafted himself. He completed the build in 2020 and is currently engaged in rigging it for sailing.
