SUNDERLAND — Saturday’s election will see a contested race on the ballot, with four candidates running for two open seats on the Sunderland School Committee.
Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sunderland Public Library.
Meghan Arquin, Alison Booth Maio, Kara Gorey and incumbent Peter Gagarin are running for the two open seats on the committee.
The four candidates participated earlier this month in a forum hosted by the Sunderland Public Library, during which they introduced themselves and explained why they are running for School Committee.
For Selectboard, Christyl Drake-Tremblay is running to fill the seat of Selectboard member Scott Bergeron, whose term ends this year.
Other candidates on ballot include:
■Moderator, one-year term — Michael Wissemann (incumbent)
■Board of Assessors, three-year term — Michael Skibiski (incumbent)
■Board of Health, three-year term — Kenneth Kushi (incumbent)
■Riverside Cemetery Trustee, three-year term — Scott Bergeron (incumbent)
■Planning Board, five-year term — Gabrielle Kurth (incumbent)
■Planning Board, two-year term — Amanda Hanley
■Sunderland Public Library trustees, three-year terms (three seats) — Hollis Graves (incumbent), Emily Caitlin Petit, Lorin Starr (incumbent)
