With the Nov. 3 general election fast approaching, North County towns have released schedules for early voting. The deadline to register to vote is Saturday, Oct. 24, at 8 p.m. Residents can check their registration, and even register to vote online by visiting sec.state.ma.us/ovr or registertovotema.com. Those who have not yet applied to vote by mail can do so online at MailMyBallotMA.com until Wednesday, Oct. 28, or by contacting their town clerk.
Residents who have received their ballots by mail must mark the ballot according to its instructions, then place it inside the yellow envelope provided and seal it. Sign the envelope, then print your name and address below your signature. Ballots must then be returned by mail, postmarked by Nov. 3, or returned to your town clerk’s office on or before Nov. 3. If you decide not to mail this ballot back, or if your ballot doesn’t reach town hall by election day, you can still vote in person.
Below are early voting locations and hours for Bernardston, Northfield, Leyden and Warwick. Polls will also be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 3 in all four towns.
