I’d like to express my opinion on the political scene and the debate. Like some others watching the debate, I was yelling at my computer monitor! “Please, President Trump.“… “will you just shut up man!” I believe had he just been a little more composed, Mr Biden … being Mr. Biden, would have sabotaged himself. It’s just who he is. Former President Obama so eloquently put it this way: “Leave it to Joe to ‘F” it up.”
Trump is narcissistic, crude, uncontrollable, a street fighter; everything a career politician is not, but he is a team leader; True to form, what a narcissist considers theirs, they fight hard to protect and nurture; For Trump his team is the United States.
I’ve heard it said that the worst leaders are: Career politicians, academics and lawyers. We can agree Trump is none of these.
Former V.P. Biden was recently credited for receiving huge donations from billionaire elites. In a recent interview, Trump was asked about his donations lagging behind. He stated: He could engage in personal calls to prospective affluent donors, but he did not want to be “beholden” to anyone. He said “that sort of thing ‘weakens’ the office.” Another sign he is no politician! I would have to wonder about his business acumen as well. Some reports say he and his family have lost nearly $600M since entering public service…. They also donate their government paychecks to charity…. How smart is that? The Clintons, Obamas and Bidens have made this much and more since leaving public service…. Seems they’re smarter at making money, doesn’t it?
The Biden/Harris scenario I think is the perfect picture for the term limit argument. Biden for his 180 years, would be cause enough, but highlight a segregationist past, his votes to tax the elderly in 1983 and then increase it in 1993, his promise to increase everyone’s taxes again as soon as he’s in office, his refusal to release papers to refute a sexual assault allegation and other improprieties, his admission on recorded video of quid pro quo regarding Ukraine, etc., etc., … but his 180 years in office as a politician, is what really worries me, it makes him like laundry lint; definitely in far too many pockets.
Ms. Harris, with her political past and her radical left positions, has been a part and parcel of turning her home into a dystopian Third World state. Mr. Biden joining Ms. Harris’s denial of radical politically motivated destruction of American cities is also disconcerting.
Yes, Trump is different. He’s kept his promises, fighting to get reasonable drug pricing, hasn’t spilled any blood on foreign soil for political gain, bringing troops home. He’s ending wars, bringing peace to the Middle East, had the best economy in recent history, brought more prosperity to minorities than anyone can remember (before COVID), three nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize, has renegotiated or eliminated the worst deals for American interests, repatriated hundreds of businesses and jobs…. He’s been a horror.
