WARWICK — Annual Town Meeting will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 18. The meeting will take place outside on the common next to Town Hall.
NORTHFIELD — The Selectboard voted last week to award the contract to install an electric vehicle charging station at Town Hall to Advanced Energy Group of East Longmeadow.
The charger will be installed next to parking spots to the right of Town Hall and will be able to charge two vehicles at one time.
NORTHFIELD — At the recommendation of the Council on Aging, the Selectboard voted last week to hire Rebecca Sommer-Petersen full-time as the director of the Council on Aging and Senior Center.
Sommer-Petersen was hired for a six-month interim term in December 2019 following the retirement of Heather Tower. As a full-time town employee, the hiring now has no term limit.
WARWICK — The Warwick Free Public Library will present an evening talk and reading by video conference with Serena Burdick, author of the historical novel “The Girls With No Names,” on Tuesday, July 21, at 7 p.m.
