According to Biden accuser Tara Reade, “she left Washington to pursue an acting and artistic career, turned off by what she called the U.S. government’s ‘xenophobia’ toward Russia.” (Washington Post) Clever thing, her filing a police report 27 years after the alleged incident, but not naming the man. I’m sure she knows, filing a false report is a crime. But it’s no crime when no one is named. Funny thing how Putin is a known womanizer, who according to published reports has brutalized women; yet, Ms. Reade adored him and was working on a novel about Russia.

On the other hand, Biden, according to staff, created an office culture respectful of women and was working on the Violence against Women’s Act at the time Reade worked as a Senate aide. His former staff appears to be almost as upset about Ms. Reade’s assertions that Biden wanted her to serve drinks because of her beautiful legs as the shock of her statement about his alleged violent assault … slamming her up against a cold wall as she handed off his gym bag. And after having his “fun,” making a stinging remark then coldly walking away down the hall. (NYT report) And for kickers, Reade retweeted Trump’s son’s admonishment of the news media with a comment: “Please Republicans do not use my assault for political gain. Help me pressure @cnn, @nbc, @wapo, @newyorker to question Joe Biden. Thank you”

Sounds like Russian disinformation to me, guaranteed to make Putin smile.
