As I was gleefully walking out of Foster’s supermarket with my groceries in a plastic bag I was thinking of the poor “environmental warriors” on the Greenfield Town Council who are probably having panic attacks because of the lifting of the plastic bag ban. Yeah, I know, the audacity of Gov. Baker to lift that ban when we have a planet to save. I mean the planet has only been around for 4.5 billion years. But let me assure you the plastic bag ban will be reinstated in a few months so shoppers can continue bringing in their old nasty virus-carrying reusable bags.
