Maple Sugaring Workshop: Traditional arts school Fabric of Life is offering a full-day workshop exploring the traditional skills of maple sugaring Saturday from 1 to 8 p.m. at the scenic Ashenden family homestead, 80 Bassett Road. Participants will visit a maple grove, learn how to identify maples by bark and tree shape, and tap a tree. Learn about the steps to harvest and process maple syrup, and dive into sugarhouse design.
